the last Tornados
March 2019 was a sad month for Military Aviation enthusiasts. It was the month that the Panavia Tornado officially retired from service. Other countries such as Germany still fly the tornado and will continue to do so for a few more years, but it is the last time a RAF Tornado will leave the ground. It will be missed by many and it’s very sad to see such an iconic aircraft leave service. It truly is an end of an era however we do have the future to look forward to in the shape of the Lockheed Martin F-35. I managed to make it up to RAF Marham for the day on the 28th of February 2019, it was an amazing day but it got a bit darker in the afternoon which was a shame. After the elephant walk the sun came out for a small amount of time which provided us with some wonderful light as you will notice this in a few of my photos. As always, thanks for taking the time to view my photos.
